The connection between children and pets can be awe inspiring. It can be no small task to get a child or pet to sit still and pose with a happy face but put them together and suddenly a memory is preserved.  I believe this is what people really want when they hire a photographer.

 

Rather than just churn out department store type portrait packages I concentrate on capturing the essence of my subject. I prefer to photograph families and children in their home or outdoors in a relaxed atmosphere.

 

This also works best for pets who become excited or frightened when taken out of their home element.
